it's the little things around the house that make it yours, surrounding yourself with the things you love (and of course your family). oftentimes the things i love are found at rummage sales. can i help it that this antique scale was $1? no, but that's another reason for me to adore it all the more! i can not wait for summer - rummage sale season is awesome around here and my work schedule just happens to give me every thursday off - which is the best day for saling!

i love this jumbo skeleton-type key - $0.50 last summer. i'm thinking of giving it a spray paint though...don't know what color. i will wait to decide that until after we paint. for now i have only hung things where there are already nail holes. i'm sure things will be moved around post painting.

my mom and my sister are coming down next monday and bringing my 'new' farm table from my grandma!
