river has started to become the life of the party around here - evidenced by his late nights and mornings spent sleeping til 11am. no, but really - he is a delight!so many changes this month:
rolling, giving everything the taste test - toes included, reaching and grabbing - the peonies on the counter, the desk drawer handle, my snack. i can hardly do anything on the ipad around him anymore as he is always hitting the screen. he is a sponge and changing by leaps and bounds, it's hard to believe how much he is absorbing.
he's continued to have bouts of teething - rosy cheeks, low-grade fever - but i am okay with those little buggers staying away at the moment - with nursing and all.
he loves the ergo carrier and we've been tending to the yard with it.
laughing. what can i say? he lights up our world with his little laugh. overnight he learned to make himself heard - prolonged squawking at increasingly louder decibels is heard all day long - and it's highly entertaining.
parenthood is awesome.
