when my childhood friend kristin was here last month (more on that in another post) i asked her to snap a few family pics in our backyard with her DSLR camera. we are happy with how they turned out and i need to get onto ordering a few enlarged ones to hang around the house. six months old and river is growing so quickly, it's hard to remember how he used to be so helpless. just last night he started getting up on all fours and rocking, one step closer to crawling - exciting times around these parts! i am so excited for him to be on the go and explore his world but on the other hand our big north shore camping trip is coming up and it might be easier if he's not as mobile. oh the life of a mother. :)
