Berty - you are becoming a big girl right before our very eyes and it is bittersweet. you have 4-6 teeth right now, i just can't quite tell - you are working on your top incisors. those top teeth have been causing you some struggles at night, but a quick nursing sesh seems to do the trick along with some teething tablets here and there. you loooove to dance - matisyahu, taylor swift...you even loved dancing and singing along to the piano concert at great grandma millie's on christmas eve. you wave and imitate us shaking our heads, i have been working on signing with you but no responses yet. you walk along the furniture and just started crawling up the stairs although you are pretty cautious at this time. making a dash (crawling) for the top of the stairs strikes you as really funny as we chase after you and your big brother attempts to block you, you think it's a game. you know how to crawl proper but often (especially when you want to move really fast) you have a funny crawl with one leg thrown out to the side and one underneath you, i think it might be because i put you in a lot of dresses initially and this prevents you from tripping on them?! either way it is so cute and hilarious! you still love most food although you let us know when you are tired of something by swinging at it and refusing to open you mouth. you pretty much go crazy when daddy is holding you and i get home from work, i love how special you make me feel. at those times you are very content to nurse and snuggle for an extended period of time with patting my face, playing with my teeth and sometimes trying to pick my nose! - silly girl!
