liberty azama - eleven months

this month we are seeing more of your personality come out. you love dancing and will start moving as soon as we turn a song on even if it's not a 'dance' song. you are generally happy go lucky but it looks as though we are starting to see a bit of a temper come out - throwing yourself on the floor and thrashing/rocking in your high chair to the point of bonking your head on the back of the chair! you say 'hi' and 'daddy'. books are a greater interest to you now as you can turn the pages on your own - i've noticed you starting to point objects in the illustrations. you are not a risk taker - you are constantly standing but as soon as you see that you are standing unassisted you sit down. i am excited for you to take off but i realize that will be the end of the baby days so i'm happy if you take your sweet time. you have made me a bit anxious as you are not the fearless eater that you were before. you turn your nose up at some things now - including cheese and sweet potatoes - by throwing them on the floor. you have the cutest little princess wave - all in the wrist just rotating it back and forth and you lean in for kisses and snuggles.everyday your daddy and i share moments where we look at you and wonder how you could get any sweeter.
