so we are in our new home, hardly completely settled but lovin' it just the same. our neighborhood is so quiet! there is still so much to do - unpack, organize the closets, paint, organize the crawl space and tons of little things like that. but the most important rooms are unpacked - kitchen, bedroom, living room and of course josh has his entertainment system set up - that was done the first night i believe ;).
he also managed to talk me into a 42" flatscreen that was on sale at target yesterday, but i can't complain - he is going to sell his old flatscreen and used some of his birthday/christmas money for the purchase. we now have a freakin' huge tv in the family room now!
i am itching to hang stuff on the walls but i am resisting the urge until we paint. we are sending in our taxes this week and when we get our refunds we will head over to menard's for some color! yay! i'm so excited. i do have one problem though, when it comes down to it i don't know if i will be able to decide on colors. i love daydreaming and looking at the paint samples but i am going to be hemming and hawing when i actually have to chose!
our kitty has also acclimated to his new environment very well, thank you very much. he has also been more snugly lately - i think he misses my in-laws cat.
i would love to upload some pics from the moving process but my camera seems to MIA in all the clutter. i just made a round of the house and can't find it. oh well, soon enough!
