sometimes a little affirmation can go a long way. this week i've gotten quite a bit of it and it's been extremely reassuring. after a rough weekend at work (i knew it was gonna be a tough one but i had no idea how tough) i had monday off to do nothing but relax. when i returned to work on tuesday everyone was very encouraging and recognized our hard work regarding the events on saturday-sunday. not to mention i've received some cards and words from other people in my life - those close to me and acquaintances. i really do enjoy being a nurse, i find it rewarding caring for people and making a difference in their lives no matter how small it may seem. for now, this is probably the best place for me at this point in my life. 10 years from now? we'll see. :)
