late in august (i can't believe it's almost the end of september?!...oops i guess it's almost the middle of october now. tells you how long i've been working on this post, eep!) we ventured north for our lake superior camping trip. unfortunately i forgot my camera battery at home, doh! as a result here are some of josh's phone pics (which explains why he isn't in any):
we went with josh's sister and her family and had a great time - taking two vehicles up was necessary with all the extra gear needed with little ones and thankfully they both napped much of the 3 hour drive. our cart-in site was H-E-A-V-E-N on earth, little did we know that going in. although i had a pretty good idea when the ranger at check-in told josh, 'ooo, you got site E.' think private beach with a view of palisade head. you know where you will find us every summer, even if it means tenting it again and braving overnight lows of 42 degrees Farenheit with little ones.
