you have to start somewhere

So I've been a closet blog-reader for quite some time now and I figured I better just start a blog so I can comment on my favorite blogs and write my own random nonsense. It looks like so much fun so why not give it a whirl. (Not to mention the fact that having other people read my writing is little scary and uncomfortable. I am stepping out of my comfort zone a little. This will be good for me.)

Called my hubby at work today and mentioned that I am going to start a blog. He was so cute. This is how it went down:

(jaclyn) I think I'm gonna start a blog.
(josh) You are!? I'll read your blog!
(jaclyn) Well, just to warn you it's not going to be about deep profound thoughts that I have.
(josh) That's good.
(jaclyn) Really? (my husband is more of an intellect sometimes and prefers non-fiction and big thoughts vs fiction, so i figured a petty blog would not be his cup-o-tea. but he loves me, so that must be why he wants to read my blog. :))
(josh) Yeah, I think it's dumb when people write a blog all about their thoughts and feelings, and they are all blah and down. I want you to be able to talk to me and not have to just blog about that.
(jaclyn) (Oh, I love him. He makes my heart melt and my eyes tear up. I may blog about my feelings occasionally {I am a female, I can't help it}, but I prefer the randomness of everyday life.)

(josh) So you are going to blog about life events and stuff, make it a hobby?

(jaclyn) Yessiree.
