work has a way of taking over our lives in little ways. i remember when i was a nursing assistant and i would change my own bedding at home. i would slip on the fitted sheet and lay the flat sheet over the top but it always felt incomplete because i wanted to throw a soaker/chux pad on the bed. i guess i made a fair amount of beds at the nursing home.:)
i have woken up in the middle of the night telling my husband that i need to stay in a reclined position in bed so it is easier for him to flush my feeding tube. ha.
today i plopped down on the bed and looked for the remote to raise the head of the bed. took me a second to realize i had to prop myself up with pillows because i do not have an electric hospital bed in my home!

It sure does take a hold of your life!!! LOL One time I answered my cell phone, " This is Jessica, may I help you? " My mother on the other end thought I was kidding, but I really was seriously answering my phone that way!
LOL at the bed remote thing! That's hilarious! Sounds like someone needs a vacation from work!
