childhood favorites to pass on

i was threading a needle this afternoon for a little mending and petra was attempting to sniff out what i was doing. it immediately brought me back to the scene in 'old yeller' when mama has to sew up yeller's wound with some horsehair.

i was reminded of my favorite childhood movies and those that i want our children to someday grow up watching.

homeward bound

i adored chance, so much that we once named a stray female dog 'chancey'. and of course my friend had a cat named 'sassy'.

the little rascals

one of my favorite quotes - 'that wasn't sand, that was kitty litter!' & 'ohh-tay!'

there are more, along with some of my favorite disney classics and of course 'old yeller'.

i just watched little rascals yesterday! such a cute movie! got it at a garage sale for 10 cents. my favorite quote is, "the two of us will both be singing a duet, together." "how reduntant." "thank you."
