there is one couple we always play hard with and that is josh's sister and her husband. we were supposed to take our annual north shore trip to tettegouche with them this year but if you see that little pink cast on justin's wrist, you might have an idea of why we had to cancel.

so this labor day we got out and had a little fun with them at a local arboretum. 2500 acres of woodland, savanna and wetland. 2 hours of hiking and acorn picking. not bad for two preggos.
not growing up in this area, i always enjoy the impromptu country drive to explore a new park/town and familiarize myself with my surroundings. to know what is at hand. to find new favorite spots to revisit time and again. josh is already talking about the carrier we need to get for baby so we can keep up on our little outings. i'm game.

i didn't know josh's sister was pregnant, too! that will be so fun to have cousins so close in age. i love having cousins my age.
the burgers look delicious. i've heard of that place, yum-o.
