sunshine award from down under

it was a pleasant surprise when joanna from miette handmade tagged me with a sunshine award, so i am following suit and tagging a few lady friends. i agree that it seems a bit silly and maybe even narcissistic to fill this out, but what is a blog really? just a place to talk about ourselves and our lives, and i mean no disrespect by that. i love blogging.

Favourite colour?
muted greens, read: sage

Favourite animal?
definitely dog, in particularily my laborador retriever - she is the sweetest and most loving, good-natured beast ever - she has transitioned well since we brought river home. and although we have not been able to bestow her with as much attention as before she has taken it in stride and has not complained

Favourite non-alcoholic drink?
i love the white berry mocha at caribou, otherwise i am an a&w gal with the occasional cherry coke or dr. pepper

Facebook or twitter?
facebook

Favourite number?
ummm, 19?

Favourite day of the week?
toss-up between sundays or thursdays - sundays are josh's day off and tend to be more relaxing. thursdays are rummage sale days in the spring/summer, woot!

My passions?
my son/family, the elderly, bargains i.e. thrifting/rummage sales, camping on the north shore, music, and i'll admit it - desserts/sweets

Getting or giving presents?
both - i love a well thought out present, the execution of it -whether gifted or received. and when i take the time i love wrapping/packaging. but honestly who doesn't love to receive presents?

Favourite pattern?
if you looked at my scrub tops from work that alone would speak for itself - floral. i have everything from asian florals to multi-color tulips. when we're not talking scrubs i would have to say a petite floral design. although puppy dog patterns have been making their way into my heart and home of late.

Favourite flower?
hydrangeas, we planted one out front last spring and i can't wait for it to bloom/grow this year

and i in turn tag the following ladies:

How fun getting to know you! I love hydrangeas, too - they were my wedding bouquet flower :)
