this month river james likes his bumbo and sitting up in general, standing, clasping his hands and sleeping on his tummy. other things that bring him cheer are diaper changes, baths and being outside. he's not so sure about strangers/people he hasn't seen in awhile.
he has been sporting the bald spots for awhile now - hardly any hair on the sides of his heads and none in back except for his baby mullet. he fills out six month clothing no problem and rocks his little straw fedora.
lately he is capable of sleeping 6 hours straight at night, but it is hardly a habit.:) baby eczema has been plaguing his little elbows for a bit now but he doesn't seem to mind. everyday he's becoming more aware of the pets and i'm excited for the day when he's big enough to play with petra.

one of my favorite things is how little mister is finding his voice more everyday. it makes me weep with happiness, he is sooo sweet.
please don't grow up river, i can't stand the thought.

Ah! What a sweetie. He is growing up so quickly. It will be so much fun to have these posts when he is older!
