i have dreams for my backyard this summer. my ideal would be a cottage type garden like those below. but i do prefer low-maintenance so i do not plan to let a garden take over my yard and in turn take over my summer .

our patio is kind of bland and i would love to do some container gardening to add some life to the grilling area with something like the galvanized tubs above.

we already have a pretty great backyard to start with and lots of perennials. but i want to make it ours. i plan on hanging my new hammock under those trees to the left and my vegetable garden is beyond that.
a romantic weeping willow is on my dream list too.
