a dreary, rainy day is upon us and i am fully embracing it. my plans for rummage saling and strawberry picking were foiled but i am enjoying the excuse to stay inside. the windows are open as i listen to the steady drizzle, a few candles have been lit to combat the gloom and all the lights have been turned out. it's the kind of day where i happily eat all of my meals out of a bowl. i am content.

love a good summer rain, gloom-fighting candles, supper flapjacks. you sure know how to turn dreary on its head and end up with a whole bunch of lovely.
Breakfast for dinner happens to be my favorite.
