i have big feet. my sister is a
skosh taller than me and yet her feet are two sizes smaller. i remember when i was in college and a couple petite girls were sitting in front of me and my friends in lecture. they were talking about how embarrassed they would be if their feet were size 8. they agreed they would totally buy smaller shoes. these girls proceeded to turn around and take a census of
womens' feet sizes. when they got to me i unabashedly proclaimed '9.5'. that was the end of that conversation.
sometimes my shoe size irks me though. like when my husband's friend was over and as we were all relaxing in the living room i had thrown my feet over my hubby's lap and said friend announced, "whoa! you have big feet." no matter that friend's wife is petite and has about size 6 feet. alas, he does not top my list of top-mannered people. :) and that one took a littler longer to get over. but for the most part i really don't care about my shoe size.
the plus side is definitely clearance sales, big shoes are always leftover. check out these shoes/sandals that i scored the other day at target. less than $9.50 for all 5 pairs.

some of them are not exactly my style but when you can get a sandal to the tune of $1.88 you can't say no. :) i'm definitely loving the red peep toes and the turquoise embellished sandals though. now i just have to find the time to wear them!

I LOVE ALL OF THEM!
Jaclyn-I feel the same way when people shockingly comment about my height or the length of my hair (yes people do feel the need to make mean comments about it and it's just a couple inches below my shoulders.)People are uninhibited today and feel they can say whatever comes to mind to others without thinking of how it may affect them. For the record, I have never noticed your shoe size :)
I have never thought your feet were too big :) I love the shoes you were able to buy on sale! Have a good day :)
