another beauteous weekend camping trip under our belt. the north shore is a wondrous place. sometimes it's hard to believe how much MN has so much to offer.
friday we headed north with my sister-in-law and her husband and enjoyed a glorious sun-filled weekend on the shores of lake superior. time was spent jumping waterfalls...having spitting contests from bridges...quoting bear grylls...
eating wild raspberries...hiking along the shores of the baptism river...peering over steep ledges...
wading in the lake and across rivers...retrieving hubby's sunglasses from a near suicidal leap off a cliff into the lake while scaring the crap out of him with my climbing antics...
coaxing both husbands to the precipice many a time...expressing disbelief at the perfect weather we were blessed with. it was a perfect trip. next year we will get a cart-in site that sits lakeside. i can't wait!
'proud of myself' symbol i learned in japan. has anybody else ever seen this used in pictures? a little something different than the popular two finger/'peace' sign.
