my grandma is the ultimate rummage saler. so it's always nice when she wants to unload a little bit of her bounty on me. i have attained much of the furniture in my house from her and i'm in love with it all. whether it be my antique writing desk, farm table or any of these two trunks and dresser that i acquired over christmas break.
this first trunk is by far my favorite - leather/metal/wood body and beautiful detail. i have all my christmas ornaments stashed in it.
the corner with the dresser is unintentionally my 'bridge' corner. the print of the golden gate bridge is significant because we spent our honeymoon in san francisco. the bridge on the wall is a watercolor which i couldn't pass up because the precision of watercolor paintings has always eluded me.
this last trunk has recently been delegated to 'the man cave' and josh doesn't seem to mind. it's quite masculine and reminds me of something that you would've found on the wells fargo wagon.
i bumped up my camera from 'auto' to 'program auto' for these photos which meant i could change some of the settings myself and i'm happy with how they turned out. the colors are definitely more vivid. next stop manual settings!

I love the dresser and your trunks! We have a couple trunks from an estate sale and I LOVE them...they make a room feel so cozy.
