took a trip north the other day and it was a beautiful drive. everything was snow-laden and i was marveling at the beauty the entire trip. in contrast, central minnesota is really letting me down this year in the snow realm.


petra came with us and did great on the car ride, especially considering she had to ride up front with me on the way back because the back seat was packed with goods.


one of my favorite parts of the trip is driving through aitkin, i love the large trees and historic houses on the main drag.
