my favorite season has come around, you may be thinking spring but you are wrong. rummage sale season! if you know me, you know i speak the truth. woot! tomorrow marks the first day of getting up early and hitting the sales hardcore. i am a fairly seasoned saler but growing up i hated it. my mom dragging me out of bed when i wanted to be enjoying my summer vacation sleeping in. but as a result of her persistence she instilled a seed in me that has now grown into an insatiable thirst. all winter long i pine for rummage sales. and now the time has finally come again! for my fellow salers - check this out - you will laugh.

my sil and i are heading out in the wind and snow early tomorrow. i've got a few estate sales in mind along with some city-wide sales a bit farther out. got my smart wools and my rain boots, tuna sandwich in my purse and some hard-earned cash. 

to get in the swing of things and to entice some of you that have not fallen prey to the rummage sale i thought i would share some of my favorite 'treasure' finds from the last few years. (not that i really want you as competition out there.)  if you wonder why this post is titled $26, you will soon find out.

you can't beat that. i must say i treasure every item pictured, not only because to me they are beautiful but because i appreciate the thrill of the hunt and can recall the location and a story for each piece.
