Bienvenidos a Miami

Who doesn't love this little welcome sign from Cottage Sign ShoPPe on Etsy. Way cute.

Reminds me of my Spanish II class in high school. Senora would greet us everyday, "Bienvenidos a Miami. (Welcome to Miami)" The class would then respond, "No me parece Miami a mi. (It doesn't seem like Miami to me.)" It didn't make any sense, it was just fun to say because it rhymed! I've been trying to use the little Spanish I remember from time to time. But nobody around me remembers much either. :( Sad day.

What else? Last night Josh brought me home Vanilla Haagen-Dazs as a surprise. oh fer sweet - literally. I really love how they came out with those $1.20 one serving containers, so I don't have to feel bad about eating a whole container in one sitting. What can I say? Yum! We had worked opposite shifts Friday-Sunday and were like ships passing in the night. So we had a nice squeeze-fest at the door as soon as he got home yesterday. So nice.
Anybody else know the song "Run" by Snow Patrol? I discovered it the other day and love it, Leona Lewis did a cover of it and I love that one too! I am thinking about picking up her debut album "Spirit" because she is amazing.
One last thing. I was watching "An Affair to Remember" the other day, and need help figuring out what a certain line means. Has anybody seen this?

Terry McKay had invited Nickie Ferrante to her cabin, and declined an invitation to his. She then says, "It's not that I'm prudish. It's just that my mother told me never to enter any man's room in months ending in 'R.'" Nickie responds saying her mother is very clever. Hmmm. I don't get it. I think I'm missing something very obvious. Can anyone enlighten me?
